Who is Donor Drive?

DonorDrive® Social Fundraising is online software for peer-to-peer fundraising and event registration. Walk participants are using DonorDrive to sign up their family team, create fundraising pages and celebrate their participation with close friends over their social channels.

How do I register for the Walk online?

Go to the register now button and complete the form. It is recommended that you read the "How Do I" instructions prior to registering to make the process as efficient as possible. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt.

Do I need to know someone with Down Syndrome to participate in the Walk?

Definitely not! CDSPG welcomes anyone who would like to support our programs! The goal of the Walk is to promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join us!

Do I have to have a team or be on a team or can I register as an individual?

You don’t have to have a team or be on a team. Anyone can register and participate! To register as a team, follow the team registration instructions.  To register as an individual walker/runner, select the role, "Individual". Once you have completed the first registration, there will be a link at the top of the confirmation page to register additional people, if needed.

What is a Walk Team and how do I form one?

It is simple! You can create a team to support an individual with Down syndrome or you can create a team to show collective support from an organization, like a company or school.  To register as a team, follow the team registration instructionsYou will be able to name your team and then recruit team members; family, friends, co-workers, and others to be on your team. Your team members can register to walk with your team at the Walk and/or donate to the team by selecting your team name on the website. It is a fun way to garner support for a great cause!

What if I can't attend the walk? Can I make a donation?

Yes, all donations are greatly appreciated. You can make a donation by selecting "Donate To This Event" on the Walk website.

What if my donors don't want to donate online?

You can ask your donors to mail their donations directly to CDSPG:

If they would like their donation credited to a team, please ask them to indicate which walk team they are supporting and your name on the memo section of the check.

Is my information secure? 
Yes. DonorDrive has made every effort to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.

Can I change my personal url?
Once you are registered, log in to your Dashboard you will have the opportunity to create a personal url (customized portion of the link after the last forward slash) Go to the event site, click participant login on the top left hand corner of the home page. Once you are logged into your personal fundraising page go to Profile under Welcome (Your Name). Once you get to the Profile tab, click on the button on the bottom right hand side that says (Your Fundraising Page). A drop down list will show and you will select Edit Your Page. Your personal URL is going to show with an option to change it.  Make the change to a new URL then go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes button.

Can friends and family make a donation to a Participant by going through the main website?
Yes. On the home page of the website, friends and family can locate a Participant by clicking on the "Donate Now" button and searching for the name of the person on the search box. By typing in the name of the Participant, they will be directed to the Participant's personalized pledge page.

Is a portion of the registration fee a donation?
No. With your registration fee you receive a t-shirt, food and other gifts and services.  As a result, your registration is not tax-deductible. Your registration fee will not count towards your fundraising total. 

Why is the "Search Box" not finding a Participant that I know has registered?

You must type in the first name or last name of the Participant exactly how it is spelled. It is not case sensitive. 

How can I see who has donated to me?
Go to the Donations section on the top of the site after you have logged in to your Dashboard. Click on “Donations Received” from the drop-down list to view your list of donors.

I forgot my Username and Password. How can I find out what they are?
Click on “Participant Login”, if you forgot your password click on the “forgot password” link.  You will receive an email with your username and password. 

All of my Donors are not showing up on the scroll mechanism. Why?
As your Donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the recognition scroll. 

Will DonorDrive put my name on various mailing lists?
Donor Drive division collects and maintains only personal information that is voluntarily submitted to us. We will only share personally identifiable information with a third party if and when the individual submitting this information has permitted us to do so, or if we are required by law to do so.
